Who Is Hilary?
We are sisters, Janice and Krista Beurling, and are
the creators, owners and operators of Hilary's Special Honey. We began
experimenting with flavoured honey in 2002 and soon realized the potential of
this largely untapped market.
The real Hilary is our youngest niece. When she
was a pre-schooler, her favourite sandwich was made with a sweet spread she
always called "special honey," even though it didn't contain a bit of honey.
When we began developing our flavoured honeys, it
seemed natural to name them after Hilary. And she doesn't seem to mind at
all!
